What is the owner’s experience?
Bay Asset Care is owner-operated with over 25 years of real estate and property experience. The owner is a licensed real estate professional in Virginia and has owned and managed short-term rentals, long-term rentals, and commercial properties. He also brings hands-on construction experience from general contracting residential builds in both Virginia and Florida, along with completing a wide range of maintenance work personally. In addition, he holds a boating license and has prior boat ownership experience, providing practical knowledge for dock and boat care services.
Are you a licensed contractor or marine mechanic?
No. Bay Asset Care provides property maintenance, home watch, and boat care services focused on inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. For specialized or licensed work, we coordinate with qualified, licensed professionals as needed.
Do you offer emergency or on-call services?
No on-call, scheduled visits only
Can you work with my cleaners, contractors, or vendors?
Yes, during scheduled visits or coordination.
Do you guarantee repairs or outcomes?
We take pride in providing reliable service and attention to detail. However, because we focus on inspections and preventative maintenance, we cannot guarantee against failures, damages, or issues beyond our control. Our goal is to identify and address concerns early whenever possible.
Are you responsible for damage or missed issues?
We perform thorough visual inspections and routine checks during scheduled visits. However, we cannot guarantee the detection of all issues or be held responsible for hidden, sudden, or unforeseen problems that occur between visits.
